The stem of Helianthus angustifolius has coarse hairs, especially on the lower part of the plant.
The leaves also have hairs on the edge near the stem. Narrow-leaf sunflower has yellow ray flowers with darker disk flowers than many other sunflowers.
Swamp sunflower is a branching plant that produces deep green leaves and masses of bright yellow, daisy-like petals surrounding dark centers.
The flowers, which measure 2 to 3 inches across, appear in late summer and early fall when most plants are finished for the season.
They can spread to a width of 4 to 5 feet.
You can plant the seeds in pots or in landscape.
Wait until all frost has passed before planting or placing outside.
Plant three seeds by barely pressing down in moist soil.
Place in sunny place and keep moist.
When planting outdoors space about 37 inches.

How are Seeds Shipped ?
All very small seeds are processed using a normal stamp process for letters. Larger small seed orders will be shipped with a non-Machinable stamp. MULTI seed orders are shipped in a larger First-Class envelope with a printed USPS Etsy tracking label.
