This has been collected from the Big Thicket area of Southeast Texas.
Not recommend for ponds due to rapid growth and should not be planted 50 feet or closer to a dwelling.
Ducks and Waterfowl consume the seeds.

At night the large Hawk Moth use their long tongues get nectar.
Small mammals and deer feed on the primrose.
