These seeds are from the Big Thicket area of Southeast Texas.
They will need cold stratification 60-90 days.
This can be done naturally through winter or in a fridge.
The flesh needs to removed from the Berry before planting.
When planting plant 1/4 inch deep.
I recommend Sandy potting mix.
The Big Thicket is mostly sand.
Keep the seeds moist.
* However; NOT Water logged
You can spray mist the seeds from time to time to keep them moist.
They need to stay moist and not dried out.
Make sure they are in a sunny location to germinate either planted over winter or in a pot.
Germination can take several weeks to several months.
Do not plant or move the seedling until it has two sets of true leaves.
I recommend the over winter outside process. When planting mix sand and potting mix with the seeds.
