Scape off the outer layer of the stem bottom about 1/2 inch after making sterile cut at 45 degrees.
Wet the 1/2 inch bottom into hormone powder.
Place in a well draining small planter pot for rooting with tray underneath to hold the extra drainage of water from the draining pot.
Before you place the cutting into the pot place a pencil for a hole to insert the cutting.
* The top leaves may fall off and this does not mean they are not rooting.
It’s just part of the process.
Place the potted cuttings in the tray in a shade area outdoors out of direct sunlight.
If you do not live in a humid level are place a plastic bag over the pot for humidity.
Here is Texas we have humidity.
Keep the soil moist not water logged for rot.
Check the small plastic pots bottom for root webs.
You will know it is ready to plant when you see this.
