Soak in water for 24 hours.
Cold stratify 120 days. You can plant them for winter for self cold stratification.
Plant 3/8 deep.
Mulch with sand and organic compost.
These are harvested from the Thicket in South East Texas.
RedBay is used for cabinetry wood and the leaf is used for soups for their spicy flavor.
It is also known as Swampbay, Shorebay, Tisswood and Scrubbay.
