The flowers and fruits will attract butterflies, bees and songbirds.

Native American Indians ( Cherokee Indians used it for shafts making arrows. )

In hotter areas make sure you do water to counteract stress.


This is organically grown in the Thicket of South East Texas.
The soil is Sandy and is a humid environment where grown.

Arrowwood viburnum prefers a loamy, well-drained soil.
It can tolerate a range of soil types, including clay soil.


Once established you can apply a slow release fertilizer in Spring.
apply some organic compost around shrub.

It is pretty much a pest / disease free Shrub.

You can plant with lilacs, hydrangeas, and peonies.


They grow well in Swamp Areas, Stream Banks, any other moist place where it is a moist environment.


Seed:
Sow : 1/4 - 1/2 Inch Deep

Germination seeds alternating one to two months periods of first warm/moist stratification

Cold Stratification is needed for Two Months.
Store them in cold until Spring.
After I process the seeds they are cold stored and I will notify purchaser of time this has been in effect.

The seeding will grow 6- 8 inches the first Summer.
It takes a few years before they establish.

How are Seeds Shipped ?

All very small seeds are processed using a normal stamp process for letters. Larger small seed orders will be shipped with a non-Machinable stamp. MULTI seed orders are shipped in a larger First-Class envelope with a printed USPS Etsy tracking label.
