Cold stratification takes two months.
Soak the seeds in hot water 24 hours or boil for 1 min.
The seed coating must be broken down to germinate.
You want to barely scratch open the seed on one side before planting. This allows the embryo to be exposed for germination.
Plant in soil about 1/4 “ deep.
Hardy to -10 F and in Zones : 6-9
